The reason I loved the old Beerfest at Navy Pier is because it was in a huge venue and you never felt crowded, and they had live bands throughout the session if you wanted to take a break from drinking to go hear a band.
The Chicago Beer Festival looked promising to begin with as people begin to filter in, with an equal number of breweries (around 50) as at the old Navy Pier festival.
As people continued to file in it quickly became clear how much less space we were dealing with here. This wasn’t a huge deal, since with over 50 vendors you still didn’t experience long lines anywhere. برنامج كتابه على الصور بدون تحميل I was able to try out 25 different beers while we were there, some iffy but most delicious. They also had an assortment of food there which I didn’t actually try, but it looked quite good.
Overall I was very happy with the event, until 15 minutes before the scheduled end time the organizers started kicking people out and telling the beer vendors not to give out any more beer. This was frustrating, since there were still breweries I wanted to try out but was stopped literally as they were about to pour me a beer. There was no reason given for the early end time, and I did end up feeling a bit cheated.
Overall it was a really good experience, and I think if the old Beerfest hadn’t set the bar so high I would have enjoyed myself even more. The next time they hold this I’ll definitely still be in attendance.
And if you’re curious, here’s a list of all the beers that I sampled throughout the session below. This was compiled by the السيرة الذاتيه للتوظيف app, which I highly recommend checking out!
