What it is:  There’s really nothing not to love at this fair. First of all you have vinyl records, and who doesn’t love vinyl records? Add to that food from vendors like Upton’s, Goose Island beer, Dark Matter coffee, live music, DJs, and general frivolity. It’s the bee’s knees. And for you record lovers you can beat the rush with early access to the event from 8am – 10am for only $25.

What it is:  This year marks the Ten Year Anniversary for the “Bash On Wabash” with the goal of bringing neighbors and businesses alike, from near and far, to a festival that showcases the beauty, creativity, history and culture of the South Loop.

Benefiting the Greater South Loop Association (GSLA) and a portion of proceeds to the South Loop Food Pantry, this lively, colorful festival will have something to offer everyone including a wide variety of musical acts, food and beverages (including beer and wine), arts & crafts, an elaborate children’s area, vendor booths, and so much more!

What it is:  Spooktacular attendees will register at “Halloween Headquarters” and delight in FREE refreshments, crafts and games before embarking on a trick-or-treating trek to participating businesses throughout the community. While loading up on tasty treasures, trick-or-treaters will encounter plenty of surprises along the way: Halloween inflatables, mesmerizing magicians, balloon twist artists, jugglers and scary stilt walkers will amaze and amuse our costumed revelers during their tour.  Visitors will enjoy Scarecrows on Parade, costume contests for adults and kids, prizes from area merchants, special savings at participating restaurants and an afternoon of outdoor family fun. You won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind spooky event!
